Weixin Yan, doctoral tutor of SJTU, has received PhD degree in electro-mechanics from SJTU. He mainly engages in the area of serving robots, high-precision measurement methods for robotics applications, as well as, biomedical diagnostic methods based on micro-fluidic chips. He was in charge of two National Natural Science Foundation, one post-doctor fund project and a number of engineering projects. Also, he has participated a series of national 863 programs. He has get the scientific achievement certificate and Shenzhen Hi-Tech convention outstanding product award by the project of "automatic cooking robot", also got Innovation Award in the International Industry Convention for the work of" the domestic robotics system ". Up till now, He has published more than 20 international papers, and quiet many national patents.
