Biography

Dr.Ralph Bernhardt 现任 Simufact engineering 公司技术总监，曾在弗莱堡矿业学院金属成形科学研究所进修主要研究方向为：金属成形科学，并取得博士学位。曾担任 Technology Hot- and Cold Rolling CEGELEC AEGAnlagen und Antriebssysteme GmbH 金属事业部应用工程师、Preß- und Schmiedewerk 有限公司钢锻车间经理、Umformtechnik Radebeul 有限公司技术董事总经理、EFS股份有限公司技术董事总经理。

曾获克拉科夫国际学生会议优秀奖、“阿格里科拉”- 弗莱堡矿业学院“卓越学习”奖章、“萨克森金属成形技术奖1996”优胜奖。

自1992年以来，合著了60多份科学出版物（国内和国际）以及申请了5项专利，最新出版:《ICME软件解决方案手册》(WILEY-VCH, 2017) 联合作者、联合编辑（第二章）。

Abstract

The deformation and cracking of components is a major obstacle for companies to take advantage of the additive manufacturing process. A large amount of unproductive time and cost is wasted during repeated trial and error and exploration. Simufact Additive is a powerful and scalable process simulation environment for the first-time-right optimization of Metal Additive Manufacturing processes. Simufact can do process chain simulation of printing, heat treatment, cutting, HIP,  etc. It helps to predict deformation and possible crack before the actual printing of the product. It can help designers to improve the virtual design of the process. This ultimately achieves the goal of a successful print.
