Biography

Dr. Sergei Matveev is a Senior Researcher in the Scientific-Educational Center for 
Gas Dynamic Research of Samara University. He received his PhD degree in 2017 and his research interests cover a broad area, include aviation kerosene, biofuel, combustion chamber, gas-turbine engine, burner, combustion, chemical kinetics, and laminar flame speed.

Dr. Ivan Chechet is also a Senior Researcher in the Scientific-Educational Center for Gas Dynamic Research, Samara University. He received the PhD degree in 2018. His research focuses on gas-turbine engine, burner, combustion, chemical kinetics, gas chromatography, laminar flame speed.

Abstract

Samara National Research University (Samara University) is one of the leading Russian universities, highly-regarded not only in Russia but abroad. Samara University trains specialists in rocket and space engineering, aviation, radio electronics, metallurgy, the automotive industry, the information-and-communication industry, and other fields. This presentation is devoted to the experience gained by the team of the center of gas-dynamic research in the field of experimental and numerical research of combustion processes. The experimental base of the center, experimental equipment and advances in numerical modeling will be presented.
